💀How long have you been tattooing for?
I have been tattooing for 6 years but in the industry much longer on and off.
💀Your style?
My work is a combination of illustrative blackwork inspired by elements of traditional tattooing.
I enjoy pattern work and our natural world, lady heads, religious iconography, reapers and creatures.
💀Funny request or client’s story?
I’ve had a few funny requests, and as being in a walk in shop we have had some wild requests and there are some funny stories. I really enjoyed incorporating an anchor into a hip replacement scar for someone’s first tattoo. I like to ask my customers is what their top 5 crisps are and if they believe in ghosts, the spooky stories from people are my favourite!
💀You in 5 years?
In 5 years I’d like to have progressed and learnt more techniques in my craft, l’m a sponge for it and I like to keep busy too. I would like to tick off my list the conventions of my dreams to work at and personally, I would like to travel more and spend more time in nature and with my loved ones.
💀Do you express your art in any different type of media
I have a Bachelors in Fine Art and I have always been really creative. Aside from tattooing, I practise drawing and sketching a lot and I am a painter and musician. I also volunteer within a charity space that is a structured occupational support and art workshop with a primary focus on people who are moving on from prison, homelessness or addiction, that’s really inspiring to be involved in.
💀 Three adjectives describing you
silly, caring and creative.
💀Dream project?
I would love to do a bodysuit of course! I am so inspired by so many artists and music, things and friends around me, also by so many tattooers so like Guy Le Tattooer, Rich Hardy, Servadio, Duncan X, Alix Ge, Belmo, Daniel Bacz, Konrad Krajda, Lipa, there’s too many to name. The more I learn about tattoo history aswell the more it blows my mind at how much variety there is now, it’s really cool to see.
